Superconductivity Science and Engineering
Superconductivity has been basically understood by the famous BCS theory, but the understanding is not considered to be complete. For instance, in order to obtain room-temperature superconductivity which we are eager to have in our hands, it is necessary to unveil some new key issues.
Now we develop our superconductivity research in Tokyo Metropolitan University (TMU) in the cooperation of researchers outside TMU, leading to a new route to obtain exotic superconductivity.
We will continue to expand the research towards the discovery of new superconducting materials and new concepts concerning superconductivity.
