Introduction

Disaster prevention as well as welfare and nursing care for the elderly can be raised as the big issues facing Tokyo. The keywords of measures for both of these are said to be social communication. Expectations are growing daily for the progress of “community centric” research applying robots and IT in multifaceted ways for disaster prevention. The term “community centric” refers to a new international trend that will realize the acquisition of user logs using social robotics (ROB) as information media, the multifaceted analysis and formation of user models using social big data, and further, support for a whole community formed by multiple users carried out by multiple matching.
